What are your hours of operation?
You may place an order online 24 hours a day 7 days a week, however if you would like to speak with a customer service representative personally they are available Monday through Friday 9:00AM CST to 4:00PM CST.

    How long will it take to arrive?
    Orders are processed within 72 hours of receiving them, although most orders are received, processed, and shipped within 24 hours. Most orders arrive at our customers' door within 5-10 days from the time the order is placed, with the exception of orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO, Military addresses, and internationally which require more time. To minimize backorders we actually ship from 5 different locations nationwide.     Will you ship to a PO Box?
    Many of our items cannot be shipped to a PO box and any orders being sent to a PO Box cannot be tracked. Therefore we strongly encourage you NOT to ship to a PO Box. Hubcaps Plus is not responsible for lost or missing orders sent to any PO Box.

    What is your return policy?
    We are committed to providing quality merchandise and stand by our products. We accept returns on uninstalled products that are not electrical in nature or custom ordered up to 30 days of the date of shipment with a return authorization. Please call 1 (888) 482-2279 or e-mail one of our sales associates for a return authorization.
    Please Note: A 30% re-stocking fee will be applied to all items that qualify for a return unless otherwise noted.

    What if my shipment is damaged?
    We take every measure necessary to insure you receive your purchase safe and undamaged. However if by chance you do receive a package that was damaged during shipment:
    Immediately contact the carrier

  • FedEx - 1 (800) GO-FEDEX
  • UPS - 1 (800) PICK-UPS
    Tell them you have received a damaged package and file a claim. Then call 1 (888) 482-2279 or e-mail us notifying us about the damage claim. The carrier will pick up the product for inspection. This will allow them to issue us a credit; once our credit is processed we will ship a replacement item.

    Can I purchase from you without using a credit card?
    Although the fastest and easiest way to purchase an item is via credit card we can also accept your payment by cashiers check, money order or personal check (which will be held 10 days for clearing).     How can I tell if my rims are steel or alloy?
    Determining if your rim / wheel is steel or alloy ( i.e. aluminum) is crucial to getting the correct wheel covering. Wheelskins are custom made to fit steel wheels only. The only exception's are the couple of wheel skins that are especially made for an alloy wheel and these are very clearly marked in our catalog. No wheelskin that is designed for a steel wheel will ever fit on an alloy wheel.

  • Steel wheels will either be black or painted a color.
  • Alloy rims are usually a grey or silver material (not paint).
    The most fool proof way to make sure your rim is steel (don’t laugh) go to your refrigerator and get a magnet off the door. If the magnet sticks to the rim it is steel if it does not it is alloy. If you are still unsure what your rim is please email us at customerservice@hubcapsplus.com to help you determine what you have.

    How do I determine my wheel/rim size?
    When checking tire size it's not necessary to measure anything. The diameter of your existing hubcap or rim is not your wheel/rim size, and will not give you the correct dimension.
    All tires have a "size series" printed on them that contains the wheel/rim size. This series of numbers usually begins with a P. - (example: P175/70/R15) In the tire "size series" the two digit number following the R denotes your wheel/rim size. (In the example the wheel/rim size is 15")

    What are chrome wheelskins?
    Chrome Wheelskins will give even the most basic style steel wheels an impressive and expensive "hi-end" look and are an inexpensive alternative to those chromed alloy wheels that cost 20 times as much.
    Wheelskins are made to fit like a "skin" right over your wheel and take only minutes to install. They install via a system of plastic clips which snap into the cut outs on the wheel, or via a series of interlocking metal clips making them easy to maintain and car wash safe.
    Constructed of high impact ABS polymer and triple-chrome plated our Chrome Wheelskins will give your vehicle a high-styled, enhanced appearance for years to come.

    How do I install my chrome wheelskins?
    There are two types of wheelskins, internal mount and external mount. Internal mount wheelskins will have plastic clips which snap into the cutouts on the wheel, simply line up the wheelskin with the cutouts and push. External mount wheelskins will have a series of clips along the outside rim. These clips are what secure the wheelskin to the rim. Please do not attempt to force the skin onto the rim. This may cause damage to the clips and cause them to either be unmountable or mount loosely. The proper way to install your new external mount wheelskins is to take a flathead screwdriver and insert it in the slot at the top of the mounting clip and gently pull the clip back, so that it clips over the lip of your existing rim.

    What is a replica cap?
    A replica or reproduction wheel cover is manufactured to closely resemble a factory original equipment wheel cover at a fraction of the cost. Our replicas run usually about 75% less then the factory caps from a dealer. We very clearly mark all of our replicas in our catalog. Please keep in mind that these caps are not O.E.M. so we do recommend that you replace them in sets to get an exact match on all 4 wheels.

    Can I buy a single cap/cover/wheelskin?
    Most of our Hubcaps, Wheel Covers, and Wheelskins are available for purchase as a set or in singles.

    What size hitch cover do I need for my truck?
    That all depends on what type of hitch receiver you have. Most trucks will have a Class III Hitch receiver which will require a 2 inch Hitch Cover. However some trucks have a class II Hitch Receiver which requires a 1.25 inch Hitch Cover.

    What size locking hitch pin do I need for my hitch cover?
    For a Class III Hitch receiver which will require a 2 inch Hitch Cover you will need a 5/8 inch locking hitch pin. For a Class II Hitch receiver which will require a 1.25 inch inch Hitch Cover you will need a 1/2 inch locking hitch pin.

    How many calipers can I paint with one G2 brake caliper paint kit?
    1 G2 brake caliper paint kit contains enough paint to sufficiently paint 4 brake calipers or two brake drums.

    Do I need to remove my calipers in order to paint them?
    As the G2 brake caliper kit is a brush on application, it is not necessary to remove your brake calipers in order to paint them.

    How do I install my "Wheelskins" leather steering wheel cover?
    Each cover comes complete with a nylon lacing cord, a needle, and illustrated detailed installation instructions. The holes are pre-punched with a patented lacing hole reinforcement to prevent tearing during installation. The time required is approximately 60 minutes.
